What is G-Spyke?
G-Spyke is a mobile app for geologists that lets you build stratigraphic columns directly in the field. You log each layer — lithology, thickness, structures and photos — as you measure it, and end up with a finished, structured stratigraphic column on your phone.
Does G-Spyke work offline?
Yes. G-Spyke is offline-first: it works with no signal at the outcrop. Your data is stored locally on your device, with no account required.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
Your columns, layers, coordinates and photos stay on your device and are only shared or exported when you choose. When online, Firebase may process diagnostics and usage data as described in the privacy policy.
What platform is G-Spyke available on?
G-Spyke is available for Android on Google Play and for iOS on the App Store. Check each store for device compatibility and availability in your region.
How much does G-Spyke cost?
